Biography of Jackeline Fontánez Mejías
Born on the 7th of April of 1987 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Since she was a little girl she showed great interest in Dance and Modeling. Early in her childhood she loved to be in front of a crowed.
Her professional trajectory started taking off when she was in the 12th grade as opportunities to become a professional Dancer for various artist came a long. Artist such as : Nicky Jam, Falo and a young boy group called GM2. She was also a part of a soap opera called “Mis Teens En La High” (My Teens In The High) which was transmitted thru Video Max on channel 52, having to play the controversial part of “Giselle”. Showing an incredible potential in memorizing scripts, incredible techniques in dance, a commendable image and physical projection, she decides to participate in a prestigious beauty pageant called “Miss Puerto Rico Petite” 2006, in which she went with the title of “Miss Cidra Petite” 2006.
In that same year she was selected as the main model for the video of reggeaton artists Rakim and Ken-Y called “Down”. After this step in her career, she participated as a VJ for MTV-PR on channel 24 and later on as a host for a program called “Reggaeton Kombat” on channel 30, she also is a master of ceremony for different contests and other events.
She participated as a dancer for a reggeaton artist by the name of Miguelito and thanks to that opportunity she has presented herself in various Spanish programs such as Sábado Gigante, Escándalo TV, Despierta America, also in concerts of important exponents of reggeaton music and has traveled to Miami, Ecuador and Los Angeles, California.
At the moment Jackeline studies in the University of Sagrado Corazón in Puerto Rico. She is studying for her bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in Publicity and Public Relations.
